The Ecosystem Roadmap is the shared plan at the center of NYC Reads Together - it represents the shared strategy and commitments that turn a group of disconnected organizations into a movement.
What would it take to make New York City the best place in the world to learn to read and write?
To answer this question, more than 60 stakeholders and 300 ecosystem leaders offered their ideas and expertise through interviews and design sprints. CPRL captured these ideas and evidence from extent literature in a roadmap that guides our collective work of transforming literacy in our city.
The Roadmap is organized around a set of solutions—the literacy experiences, services, and supports children deserve—and accelerants, the cross-cutting conditions that have to be in place in order for the solutions to reach all kids in the city.
